Very good experience at the surgery, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Thorough examination on first registration with checks done on my teeth and mouth that I had not had before at my previous practice. Clear explanations given on potential future issues and treatment, with helpful information given on self care. I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

I attended the practice this morning to be welcomed by a friendly receptionist Jennifer, who signed us in promptly and was seated to be called in on my appointment time. My experience in surgery was calming and relaxing Stephen and his nurse worked efficiently together making my visit relaxed and worry free.I would highly recommend this practice.

Nobody likes going to the dentist right? That said, I can't recommend the practice more highly. First off, a massive thank you to the dentist Qaseem Hussain (sorry if the spelling is off!). He was brilliant from the first consultation to the treatment itself. He extracted my tooth without me even realising he'd done it! Literally didn't feel a thing!!The pricing was transparent and no pressure selling. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I would happily recommend to others.

Great Dentist. Had a tooth extracted, was very nervous. Mr Stephen Porter was very kind, he put me at ease explaining what was happening right throughout the procedure. It couldn't of gone any better.Would definately recommend this dentist to family and friends.

UPDATED REVIEWThis dental practice is good, but as you can see from my original review below, I was initially more than a little disappointed by an apparent overcharge. (Emphasis on word "apparent")In my opinion the pricing structure advertised on the Emerdency website is very misleading. If you book any appointment through Emerdency for this or any other dental practice, please assume that you will require "advanced" £120 treatment, even if it's not an extraction or root canal treatment. Please ignore the £40 price band completely. If you happen to get a £40 treatment, enjoy the saving as a bonus, and maybe donate it to Charity, or give it to me.Ultimately I paid the going rate for the treatment I received, it didn't go quite right at first, but they went out of their way put it right, and I truly appreciate that.Why not 5 stars? Well, they're using a booking agent with a misleading website, and they arguably should've taken that into account when explaining the price of proposed treatment to me. Some stress could have easily been avoided.Finally, having returned to the practice again today, I can report that the receptionist is still lovely.ORIGINAL REVIEWThe booking process through Emerdency was excellent and the charges clearly shown. £49 booking and consultation fee, and then a treatment fee of either £40 or £120 for advanced treatments such as extractions or root canal treatments.In my case my tooth was chipped at the front, and I needed a cosmetic filling taking 5 minutes, for which I was charged the higher advanced fee of £120. I have contacted Emerdency and hopefully this can be rectified swiftly, with the £80 overcharge refunded. I'll update this review appropriately.Receptionist was pleasant.UPDATE 1: The cosmetic filling crumbled after less than 48 hours, so the situation is infinitely worse. I'm trying to remain hopeful they'll do the decent thing and sort this mess out quickly. I have an important appointment to attend.UPDATE 2: The reason for the £120 charge was apparently because they gave me a "permanent" filling and not the "semi-permanent" (AKA temporary) one described on the Emerdency website. So, this could be a case of somewhat unclear advertising on the Emerdency website, and poor communication from the surgery. Some research reveals that the typical private cost of a permanent filling ranges from £80 to £120.UPDATE 3: Another dentist at the surgery is going to try to fix my tooth today, it looks like I'll miss my appointment, but in fairness he did his best. He has suggested it won't be the 5 minute treatment I had before, so maybe there's some more stars coming here.

Brilliant service today with my tooth extraction, being given a 1 month date with my nhs dentist that wasn't acceptable for me, luckily called lovely lane dental clinic and sent my x ray over to get a price for private was all sorted within 2 hrs!, a big thank you to Dr Stephen porter, and his team & receptionist for a great service today, have signed up on there private scheme now, thanks again for a quick and efficient treatment today!Many thanks.Phil Burke

I was an Emergency patient that required a tooth extraction that couldn't be numbed by two prior dentist practices. Usman khan has me numb instantly, allowing him to remove the tooth. Great professional.

If I could rate more stars I would. I had an urgent issue that needed to be seen to and Dr Stephen Porter was absolutely fantastic. I hadn't been to the dentist since I was at school (left at 16 and am 35 now). I was so embarrassed, ashamed and scared about the state of my teeth and he was so professional, kind and so outgoing. Especially when I needed a tooth to be removed and I explained I have a needle phobia. Not only did I not feel a thing but he made sure I was okay every step of the way and was re assuring me the whole time.If I had a dentist like him years ago I wouldn't have been so afraid to see him. I'm registering my daughter to see him as with someone like him dealing with her she will have no fear and will grow up with a beautiful smile.Thank you so much Stephen.

I had 2 extractions first thing at 8:30am. Dr Porter made sure I was 100% comfortable and happy before taking the teeth out. I felt absolutely nothing. CANNOT put into words how appreciative I am of him and taking extra time and care to make sure I was ready and happy to go ahead with the extraction. Highly recommend this dentist.DR. P YOU THE MAN

Dr Khan and Ania were fabulous- it was an emergency appointment so I had to take my 6 year old as well as my newborn with me. Absolutely brilliant service. After suffering fear of the dentist since childhood I finally have a dentist who understands how a previous bad experience can impact on the anxiety of going to the dentist. I was shown understanding, patience and everything was explained to mein detail. The reception team and the dental nurses were all very professional. I would highly recommend.

I managed to get a next day emergency slot and went in to have a broken tooth looked at, I was prescribed antibiotics to clear an infection before returning just over a week later when I had to have a molar tooth extracted. I couldn’t have asked for a more patient and understanding dentist (an extraction specialist) who kept me well informed and at ease (as much as is possible for such a nervy customer) throughout the whole procedure, which was over with in a surprisingly short time and in as little discomfort as I could have ever imagined. Would highly recommend this practice if you need to have any dental work done, particularly if you’re nervous or have phobias about such things. Excellent service.

What a lovely experience I had today . After searching around to find a dentist to assist me with chronic tooth ache , lovely lane dental practice came to my rescue, I had to have a tooth extracted and Steve the dental technician and his assistant made it so enjoyable and pleasant and managed to see me the same day 🙏🏻they are knowledgeable and professional and so lovely to deal with , I have also decided to join the membership scheme to keep good care of my teeth, we also spoke about a teeth straightening plan , that I am so excited about .5 Star practice well done to everyone at lovely lane dental practice. Welcoming reception staff. Dr Porter is the best Dentist I have ever had. He is so calming and reassuring during every bit of my treatment. My Son has a really bad gag reflex after choking as a young child, Dr Porter is absolutely brilliant with him. I went in for advice on my baby incisor tooth which has remained all of my life after an operation to remove the big tooth in my gum. That was 1989! Dr Stephen Porter was excellent from the start. He advised against removing the tooth because after scans the roots were strong. Instead I had the existing tooth built up with composite filling at a fraction of the price. The end result is superb and I have a normal smile for the first time in my adult life. Thank You.

I managed to get an emergency appointment the day after calling, saw a very nice, young dentist who did X-rays and found a filling was needed. Being in an extreme amount of pain, he agreed to come in early the following day to carry out the treatment. Granted, I had to pay to go private for the treatment but the staff on reception, the dentist and his nurse went out of their way to carry out the treatment needed and I can’t thank them enough. Very helpful and professional staff.

What can I say excellent dentist lovely staff, met Mr Porter at Warrington Hospital when having a tooth removed, after my previous dentist made a mess of it, Mr Porter made me feel at ease explained everything to me, so after that I joined his practice and have never looked back, his work is 100% knows how to talk to patients, I myself have just had some work done and couldn’t be any happier, even my partner and family have joined his practice.

My daughter had her for tooth extraction and the lady dentist (sorry I forgot her name) was really good. She reassured my daughter and explained all the process to her stage by stage. My daughter was nervous but said afterwards that it wasn’t so bad since she was made very comfortable for the procedure. I will get the dentist name next time

First time seeing a dentist after several years, I suffer with PTSD and am terrified of medical settings and have a needle and blood phobia. Mr Porter discussed all of concerns before the work and brought me back to do the work, he was so calming and understanding it really put me at ease. I had a few needles and didn't feel a thing. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with phobias. Nurses were excellent as well made me feel relaxed and reception are very helpful and professional.

After 10 years of dental phobia.. I was petrified of seeing anyone or having anyone see or be in mouth... I cried before I even sat in the chair the 1st time which was just a little look and antibiotics but even then to go back and actuallyturn up for an extraction was somethingI didn't think I would ever do!... I have the extraction last week I was shaking from head to toe in the chair and very nearly said just leave it!! But again I was greeted with such calmness and reassurance that It done even as a nightmare of a patient shaking and panicking... it was not a problem for him way so ever... it was the best dental experience even under the circumstances and I cannot recommend them enough! Due back in 2 weeks and im actually looking forward to it for more pain free work!!! Thank you guys so much for your patience and your amazing work... I look forward to my smile ive been waiting years for!!

Dr Porter has been my dentist for over 25 years. He understands my anxieties concerning any dental treatments that I need. Have visited the dental surgery on a couple of occasions. I would highly recommend this dental surgery. The staff are not only friendly and welcoming but the dentist I have been seeing is incredibly friendly, professional and made me feel at ease (which is not an easy task!). If you are looking for a dentist surgery I would highly recommend Clayton and Scott. I hadn't been to the dentist in 14 years due to fear, I broke a wisdom tooth and knew I had to have it removed. Steve the Dentist honestly made me feel calm, he explained everything and was as gentle as he could be. Now I've had a few procedures and do not fear as much as I used too!I cannot stress how lovely the staff are also and make you feel welcome.
